This is the perfect class for young actors who want to build their skills in a fun-filled class. Each week you will work on improvisation, basics of the theatre, role play, vocal projection, creating a character, and much more. This is a class that can be taken more than once. Each student works on becoming a better actor in a safe supportive environment. This class is taught by one of the founders of YPTW.

Musical Comedy (W2012-103)
Saturdays Lobby $175
11:00 - 1:00 Grades K - 5
Liz and Gina are gathering a collection of surprise songs for this amazingly splendid class. You will sing. You will dance. You will giggle. You will learn. You will listen. You will share. You will make friends. You will look forward to these two hours all week long!! You will present the songs and dances you have learned for your family and friends at the final class on February 25th.
Here’s a really fun thing to do. Call a couple of friends and see if they want to sign up with you. Then you can have fun times two or three! And in between all that fun, you will learn some good songs and dances and get more comfortable performing in front of people.

Acting Lab Level 2 (W2012-204)
Saturdays Lobby $175
9:00 - 11:00 Grades 5 - 8
This wildly popular class returns for a second semester. Students greatly enjoyed learning about acting through improvisation, discussion, monologues, scene work, and any other idea Chris Serpentine had up his sleeve. Sign up early so you don’t get turned away!

Broadway Repertoire (W2012-207)
Saturdays 2nd floor $200

Singers who are committed to attending class, learning their music outside of class and being a supportive member of the group should register for this class. You will receive an evaluation at the end of the 8 week session. Class Limit: 18

Broadway/Tap Dance Combo (W2012-213)

Musical Scene Study (W2012-208)
Saturdays 2nd fl. $175
11:00 - 1:00 Grades 6 - 12
You are not imagining things! It is true! Claudia and Darrin are teaching a class together again! It has been a few years now since Claudia stayed past that 11 o’clock hour to teach with Darrin but this seemed like a fine idea. Duets, trios, and larger numbers AND the scenes leading into those songs. Classic Broadway musicals from Gypsy to The Fantasticks to Guys and Dolls and back again. Sign up early if you want a good scene and song.
